Hello, Lovely! Hollis here, your resident baker, teacher and teal obsessed friend!
I am the Creative Director and Co-Owner at the farm. I am also a mama to 4 littles (all 5 and under!). If you know me, you know I am all over the map on any given day, wearing all.the.hats. I always do my best to show up as much as humanly possible for the people I care about most.
Sometimes, that showing up means a beautiful, made from scratch meal. And sometimes it means Happy Meals. I am a firm believer in doing what works and serves you most in each moment. Less pressure, less guilt.
Just because I know how to make from scratch, doesn’t mean I do all the time. Goodness no! The whole goal is to be able to. Its about you knowing that you can whenever the opportunity or mood arises!

When you enrol in our ‘Savour the Flavour: Online Preserving Experience’, you will have instant access to the top four Murphy family favourite preserve recipes!
We will guide you through the wonderful world of preserving and canning, teaching you each of the skills and techniques required and inspiring you to experiment with the wide variety of produce available wherever you live. No extensive planning needed or to even leave the comfort of your own home. We do it all for you and hand deliver you a guide to long lasting freshness and enjoyment.
Each class features:
- A virtual cooking class with Hollis, creating a delicious preserve. Hollis makes alongside you, guiding and teaching you every step of the way. From your ingredient list right up until the lid is sealed shut!

- We will provide you with an easy to download and printable PDF of the recipe so you can easily see what you’ll need.
- There will be a monitored comment section available right in the course! You can also ask questions in our Facebook group at any time or in our weekly live calls.
No need to ever use store bought again
Just log on to your teachable account and click on the class you want to watch. Download the recipe from the very same page and get cooking!
Absolutely! We encourage anyone and everyone to participate. Working in the kitchen with your family can be some of the most rewarding time spent together.
There are no time limits to complete the course. You can take the course on your own time and at your own pace.
- We try to keep it as simple as possible. For preserving you will need mason a jars, a few pots, some mixing bowls, lifter (optional), canning trivet (optional)
- Everything is online. Got questions? We are online with you, ready to answer!
Absolutely! We welcome everyone no matter what kind of experience you have already! Our goal is to connect you more to your food from wherever you are!
We feel that making from scratch is a life long adventure and feel that there’s always more to learn. Since our courses can be taken from anywhere in the world, we recommend buying locally, wherever is local to you and supporting local farmers.
